After extensive refurbishment the bandstand moved back to its original home in Cassiobury park in September 2016.

Situated near the Cha Cafe, every weekend during the summer months, it plays host to a jam-packed programme of FREE live shows, playing everything from jazz to ukulele – and of course, lots of traditional brass bands for you to enjoy. What better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon!

Music, Mantra and Meditation

Sunday 7 August, 2 to 4pm

The College of Vedic Studies, based at Bhaktivedanta Manor invites you to enjoy beautiful instruments and mantra chanting with your friends and family. Bring a picnic if you wish.

The Brass Foundry

Sunday 14 August, 2 to 4pm

Bring a picnic lunch, then sit back and enjoy music as The Brass Foundry brings you a selection of French and American light music from 1900 to the present day, featuring pieces by composers as diverse as Debussy, Satie, Ravel, Joplin, Gershwin, and Bernstein.

Gospel Manna Choir

Sunday 21 August, 2 to 4pm

The Gospel Manna Community Choir is an inspiring choir bringing energy and heartfelt expression to their songs. We are so excited to welcome them back where they will be singing a mix of old and new Gospels as well as some classical favourites.

One Voice Choir

Sunday 28 August, 3 to 4pm

One Voice Community choir aims to celebrate diversity through their music. They will be singing a varied repertoire of modern tunes.

Grimsdyke Brass Band

Sunday 4 September, 2 to 4pm

Harrow's premier brass band. A music group for amateur brass players. We are looking forward to the band returning to the bandstand!

Watford Band

Sunday 11 September, 2 to 4pm

Come and listen to some relaxed and traditional brass band songs from the Watford Band who have been active for over 100 years

Easy Street Swing Band

Sunday 18 September, 2 to 4pm

This 15 piece band playng swing and contemporary favourites will get your toes tapping and bring back memories of some great tunes we all love. Music will include selections from the WW2 Glen Miller repertoire, Latin style boss-nova and some really hot jazz standards for the high energy dancers!
